John Izzo: Advisory Board Member

Mr. Izzo currently serves as an advisory board member for Community Grants Associates and was one of the original co-founders.  He is a grant and business professional with 20 years of experience in the grant writing and fundraising fields.  Currently working as a senior grant professional at Boston Medical Center and a former President of Randall Funding and Development, he has worked with a variety of clients across the United States.

Previously he was a Legal Officer at the Organization of American States in Washington, D.C. and served as the Director for Grants and Programs at the Washington College of Law at American University.  Over the course of his career he has worked with clients to secure tens of millions of dollars in funding for his clients.  He also provides training and has spoken to groups across the country on how to secure grant funding.

Mr. Izzo received his law degree from the Washington College of Law, American University and his BA from Emory University. He is a board member of UR at Work, an Antioch-based non-profit that is implementing a highly successful, data driven Youth Intervention Network for at-risk youth.
